Padfoot’s Principal Animal Behaviourist, James Davis, is a tertiary-qualified animal scientist specialising in canine behaviour. He holds postgraduate qualifications from The University of Queensland (UQ) and is currently completing a higher degree by research at The University of New England (UNE) into the behaviour and performance of working stock dog teams.

He has helped thousands of companion and working dogs over the last 20 years, and ensures that the solutions he recommends are pragmatic, practical, effective and appropriate to your individual circumstances - as well as cost-effective!

We can help with all canine behavioural problems including:

  • Reactive behaviour towards other dogs

  • Aggressive behaviour towards people

  • Conflict between household dogs

  • Separation-related behaviours

  • Destructive behaviours

  • Resource guarding

  • Fears and phobias

  • Cognitive decline

  • Barking, howling, chewing, biting, nipping, mouthing, pulling, mounting, jumping, digging etc.

James applies the science of behaviour and learning and the art of dogsmanship to help you understand the root causes behind your dog’s behaviour and to help you resolve them.
